Capacity building for bioinformatics in Latin America
Description
CABANAnet is a capacity-strengthening project for bioinformatics in Latin America. It aims to accelerate the implementation of data-driven biology in the region by creating a sustainable capacity-building programme. CABANAnet is orchestrated by an international consortium of 15 organisations - nine in Latin America and one in the UK.
CABANAnet focuses on three global challenges of particular significance in Latin America: communicable diseases, sustainable food production, and biodiversity protection.
